KILLEEN, Texas — In the wake of two recent domestic violence tragedies in Killeen — a murder-suicide and a case in which a stepson was accused of killing his stepfather — survivors, advocates and grieving families gathered for an emotional televised conversation to confront the realities of abuse and to call for community action.
Hosted by 6 News anchors Micah Wilson and Jasmin Caldwell, the roundtable featured survivors Tony Ringgold-Steele and Sharvell Davis, along with Rosalynda “Rosie” Gates, the daughter of 44-year-old Keisha Gates , who was killed last week in a suspected murder-suicide involving her husband, John Gaither.
