CINCINNATI —
Cincinnati city leaders will share their plans to improve their response to winter weather Thursday.
It comes after the mess we saw on the roads after snow earlier this year. Advertisement
City council agreed to buy new snowplows and included funding in their budget to improve snow removal. In Thursday's update, we could get a better idea of what that means for the winter ahead.
The mayor, city manager and head of public services will discuss what they're calling, "transformational technology improvements to winter operations."
Mayor Aftab Pureval hinted earlier this year that could include, potentially, drones and other high-tech tools. It followed intense criticism over the response to snowstorms that dropped about 10 inches of snow over several days back in January.
