CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — Cuyahoga Falls City Council unanimously approved new legislation Monday requiring all newly constructed drive-thrus to include a bypass lane, a measure inspired by the tragic death of Stow resident Megan Keleman.
Megan Keleman died last year after being unable to exit her vehicle during a violent incident at a Taco Bell drive-thru in Stow.
Her parents, Nick and Kelly Keleman, launched the advocacy initiative Megan’s Way Out to push for safer drive-thru designs that provide clear exits and allow first responders faster access during emergencies.
