KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knoxville Police Department responded to a pedestrian crash Thursday morning, the department has confirmed.

It happened near Broadway and I-640, according to KPD.

Broadway has seen a slew of pedestrian crashes this year. The department spoke with WVLT in May, urging drivers to be more cautious after two people were hit in two separate crashes along the road.

Several stretches of Broadway are also priority areas for Vision Zero, the city’s plan to crack down on crashes across Knoxville.
