New Delhi: India recorded it best-ever youth boxing performance at the Asian Youth Games 2025 with Khushi, Ahaana, and Chandrika clinching the coveted gold medals in Bahrain. India finished with impressive three gold medals, one silver and one bronze medal marking the best-ever performance in boxing at the continental level.
In the morning session, Khushi Chand (46kg) opened the tally for the country’s with a comprehensive 4:1 victory over Chinese boxer Luo Jinxiu, showcasing immense precision. Meanwhile, other boxer Ahaana Sharma in 50kg followed up with a statement victory forcing a Referee Stopped Contest (RSC) in Round 1 against Ma Jong Jong Hyang of the People’s Republic of Korea.
