Residents in Red Lake are being advised to check season properties and camps following a series of break and enters and thefts in the area.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, officers with the Red Lake detachment enforced a search warrant on Wednesday at a residence in Red Lake and recovered several items believed to be connected with these recent thefts.
"Over the past several weeks, police have received multiple reports of break and enter, theft, and property damage at both local and remote seasonal locations throughout the Red Lake area," an OPP advisory reads. "As investigations continue, police are urging the public to inspect their seasonal properties as soon as possible."
