Resident claims suspicious drunk man entered home: Broadview Heights Police Blotter

BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio

Suspicious person, Twin Oaks Drive: On Oct. 5, police were dispatched to a Twin Oaks Drive address regarding an alarm drop.

While en route, dispatch informed the officer the homeowner ran to a neighbor’s house because a suspicious man entered her residence uninvited.

She said the suspect was drunk and talking “crazy.”

An arriving officer searched the home with a police K-9 but nobody was located inside.

The caller also said only one bedroom door should be locked; however, the officer found two doors were locked.

After forcing their way into the first locked room, police found it unoccupied.

The other bedroom was also searched and unoccupied.

The officer then looked at interior surveillance camera footage, which indicated no one entered the home.
