PHILADELPHIA - Beloved Philadelphia radio legend Pierre Robert has died, officials announced Wednesday.

Beasley Media Group and 93.3. WMMR announced Robert’s passing in a statement Wednesday afternoon.
According to the statement, Robert was found deceased in his home on Wednesday morning.
"We all have heavy hearts today," said Beasley Media Group CEO Caroline Beasley. "Pierre’s unwavering love for music and his deep connection with listeners made him one of radio’s most enduring and beloved voices. He will be greatly missed."
"The entire WMMR and Beasley Media Group family extend their heartfelt condolences to Pierre Robert’s loved ones during this difficult time. His legacy as a true Philadelphia radio icon will live on forever," read a statement on WMMR’s website.
