King Charles is once again under mounting pressure this week to evict Prince Andrew from the 30-room Royal Lodge mansion, the residence the prince has called home for over two decades. The 76-year-old monarch is reportedly in discussion about how to remove his younger brother from the Crown Estate home, yet no action has been taken so far. ‌

The situation is far more complicated than many think, as the King cannot just kick him out. Prince Andrew - who has faced multiple allegations, all of which he denies, stemming from his past association with the late convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein - can't be served with an eviction notice. ‌

Instead, discussions must take place, as Andrew holds a long-term lease on the property that does not expire
