Academics at Princeton University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison are planning to use a new kind of tech unveiled by Microsoft meant to fast-track the time-consuming job of analyzing and poring over research data.
The tech is called Microsoft Discovery, and in one simulation , the turnaround for scientific results on a coolant prototype took 200 hours rather than several months, “if not years," Microsoft said.
The Microsoft Discovery tech will be used at only two sites around the world initially. It will be introduced at the New Jersey Artificial Intelligence Hub — also called the NJ AI Hub — in conjunction with Princeton University.
