Actor-politician Vijay-led Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) will host its special general council on November 5 to discuss the party's next course of action ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

In a statement, Vijay said that people have supported the party in the last month, while apparently referring to the fatal stampede during the party's September 27 rally.
