GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — After a stretch of sunshine and lovely fall conditions, a low-pressure system tracking up the East Coast is about to shake things up a bit. As it moves through, our winds will shift to the west-northwest, pulling in cooler air over Lake Michigan and helping to spark a few lake-enhanced showers on Halloween.
The good news? These showers don’t look too strong. Just enough to sneak into the Halloween forecast and keep things feeling a little extra spooky.
Winds on Friday start from the northwest, and between 6 a.m. and noon, a few scattered showers will develop west of US-131.
