Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) has signed three memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) worth ₹350 crore to strengthen indigenous capabilities in the dredging sector.
The agreements cover three key areas: supply of indigenous spare parts for DCIL’s existing dredger fleet, design and construction of five inland cutter suction dredgers, and provision of cable dredgers, long-reach excavators, and customised dredging equipment for reservoir de-siltation and inland waterway development.
Under the partnership, BEML will handle the supply, maintenance, and lifecycle support of dredgers and related equipment, while DCIL will manage their deployment and operations across maritime and inland waterway projects.
