First pictures emerge after helicopter in UK crashes shortly after take-off View 2 Images

The first images of a helicopter that has crashed in the north of England have emerged. The incident happened minutes after take off in a field near a food waste recycling firm in the Doncaster area.

It took off a few minutes earlier from Retford Gamston Airport in Nottinghamshire. Dozens of emergency vehicles responded to the incident.

Local news title Doncaster Free Press said witnesses had reported seeing thirty 999 vehicles attend. It is not yet known if any passengers were on board the helicopter which crashed in Bentley, South Yorkshire. The condition of the pilot remains unclear. View 2 Images
