CLAYTON, N.C. (WNCN) — Johnston County rivals Cleveland and Clayton will tangle for the 13th time on Friday in the CBS 17 Blitz Game of the Week. As usual when these two teams meet, there’s plenty at stake as Clayton will try to end the Rams amazing 61-game regular season winning streak and claim a share of the conference title.

Cleveland has had its way with Clayton through the years, winning seven straight in the rivalry. But for the Rams it hasn’t been easy. Cleveland has won the last two games by just four points total — by scores of 33-31 in 2023 and 37-35 a year ago.
