CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CTY NEWS) -- One person was seriously injured in an apartment fire Thursday morning in northeast Charlotte, according to Medic.

Emergency crews responded to the 1900 block of Terrybrook Lane, where firefighters found a two-story apartment building with smoke showing.

One person was treated for serious burn injuries at the scene and taken to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, Medic said.
