Large number of angry homebuyers, who had invested their life savings in the Adhiraj Samyana and Capital City project at Navi Mumbai, gathered at Kharghar Police Station on Thursday to get a register a case filed against the developers for alleged fraud and cheating. However, they had to walk away disappointed after the police delayed the first information report (FIR), promising action only by November 4.

The buyers, many of whom have been waiting over a decade for their flats, said they are “mentally, emotionally, and financially exhausted” after years of false assurances
