Malayalam's own megastar Mammootty was offered a 'Ponninkudam Vazhipadu' at the Rajarajeshwara temple in Taliparamba. The prayer for Mammootty's long life and health was made by Thiruvananthapuram native A. Jayakumar. Jayakumar was received by the temple officials with a picture of Rajarajeshwara.

Megastar Mammootty returned to Kerala today after an eight-month hiatus. Minister P Rajeev and others were present to receive the star at the Nedumbassery airport. He arrived in Kochi with his wife Sulfath, this afternoon.

Mammootty was in Kerala until last March before he went to Chennai for treatment. From there, he went to Hyderabad and London to shoot for his new film Patriot. A grand reception was arranged for Mammootty at the airport. A large number of fans had also come to see him. Mammo
