COLUMBUS, Ohio — A crash involving multiple semitrucks and a car closed Interstate 71 near downtown Columbus on Thursday.

The crash happened at I-70 West at I-71 North around 10:45 a.m., according to a Columbus public safety dispatcher.

Two people were taken to a hospital and their conditions were listed as stable. A third person was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.

All lanes are closed on I-70 West at I-71 North. It’s unclear how long the closure will last.
