LEXINGTON, S.C. — A 57-year-old Lexington man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for burglary, domestic violence and obstruction of justice for actions related to a September 26, 2024 incident.
William David Boone was convicted in a Lexington County Court on October 15. Judge Jessica Salvini handled the sentencing. Under South Carolina law, burglary in the first degree and domestic violence in the first degree are considered violent and serious offenses. The burglary charge is also a "no parole" offense.
According to the 11th Circuit Solicitor's Office, Boone forced entry into his former girlfriend's home an assaulted her with a metal pipe and other objects in the home on September 26, 2024. Most of the attack was recorded during the victim's 911 call where the 911 operator heard t
