The movie theater at Providence Place mall will re-open its doors on Nov. 1 under new management, with a face lift to follow.

Apple Cinemas is replacing Showcase Cinemas , as the mall works to revitalize its image under new management.

The theater’s new tenants plan to revamp the space, incorporating upgraded movie theater technology and additional leisure activities.
