Those who contract Covid-19 may find themselves grappling with lingering symptoms. Known as Long Covid or post-Covid syndrome, this condition is characterised by the persistence of Covid-19 symptoms for more than 12 weeks, and there's something doctors advise you to steer clear of if you're affected.

While it's typically not life-threatening, Long Covid can cause considerable discomfort and present a variety of symptoms. The NHS stresses that different individuals may experience different symptoms when dealing with Long Covid.
