It’s official: Bad Company will be performing at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.
Well, two of them will anyway.
Founding member and drummer Simon Kirke, 76, said in a recent interview on Lyndsanity! with Lyndsey Parker that he and lead singer Paul Rodgers will play two songs during the ceremony.
“I think the secret is out that we will perform,” Kirke said. “I’m not at liberty to say which songs. I mean, quite honestly, I don’t give a [expletive]. We’re gonna play, and whatever Paul chooses is fine by me.
“And just to play with [Rodgers] again is gonna be a real thrill for me, ’cause I missed him,” he continued. ”I missed playing with the band. I miss playing particularly with Paul, ’cause he’s such a wonderful singer.”
