TNA star Dani Luna recently commented on her time in WWE. Luna was released from her WWE contract in August 2022 after a two-and-a-half-year stint as part of the NXT UK brand. She was one of many names cut at the time, including Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster.
The following year, Luna began working for TNA and eventually signed a contract with the company. Speaking with the I Love Wrestling Podcast, Luna was honest about her WWE run, admitting that she wasn’t ready for the opportunity, having been signed at just 19 years old.
“No, I don’t necessarily think I was ready. I think I was physically capable enough, and ability-wise, I think I was ready. But ultimately, I was very much still a child and that’s such a big scary world to be thrown into, suddenly Shawn Michaels is my boss.
