FRIDAY’S TOP GAMES

Muir (8-1, 5-0) vs. Pasadena (6-3, 4-1), Rose Bowl, 7 p.m. : The 78th Turkey Tussle, which began in 1947, will take place when Pasadena meets Muir at the Rose Bowl. The game is always special, and with the Pacific League title on the line, emotions will run high. Muir owns a 46-20-2 record in the rivarly. Pasadena’s win in 2022 ended an 18-year drought, and now Muir is back at it, winning the Victory Bell the past two years with dominant victories.

Muir has played a tougher schedule, and will be in a much tougher playoff division when the CIF Southern Section playoff pairings are announced on Sunday.
