The San Francisco 49ers are nearing their Week 9 contest against the New York Giants on Sunday, and the injury report has been revealed for Thursday’s practice.

Brock Purdy remained a limited participant in practice. Offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak was mum on who the starter would be against the Giants, while pointing out that Purdy has been taking more reps this week.

“Brock’s getting better, I know that, which is good,” Kubiak said on Friday. “He is doing more this week. He’s taking a few more reps. We’re going to let the week play out and see how it goes.”

But, the 49ers are getting some reinforcements on the defensive side of the ball, particularly up front with the defensive line.
