Laredo, Tex. (KGNS) - The Webb County Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen tractor-truck and arrested one person following a patrol in an industrial area outside Laredo city limits.

On Wednesday, October 29, deputies found a white tractor truck left running, unattended and improperly parked in the area.

Authorities say the operator was identified as Francisco Javier Soria, who had been in possession of the vehicle before leaving it unattended.

A records check revealed the tractor had been reported stolen. Identifying numbers on the vehicle appeared to have been tampered with, according to the sheriff’s office.

Soria was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. He was taken to the Webb County Jail pending magistration.
