Councillors promised to build on past gains, confront what remains unfinished and focus on results as new term starts.

The new council for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo vowed to work well with the community and each other as they were sworn in during a Wednesday evening ceremony at MacDonald Island Park. After he was sworn in by Justice Stephanie Cleary, Mayor Sandy Bowman started his second term with an optimistic tone as he called for a renewed focus on a vibrant local economy. Article content
