Sarah Ferguson, previously known as the Duchess of York, will no longer have the privilege of a royal residence and must now navigate life as a private citizen.

Ferguson, affectionately called Fergie, had been living at Royal Lodge with Andrew. Although the pair divorced in 1996, she moved into the residence in 2008.

Despite Prince Andrew being offered accommodation on the Sandringham Estate by the king, Ferguson will need to secure her own place after the controversy.

Andrew, who used to hold the title Prince Andrew, will now be known as Mr Andrew Mountbatten Windsor following King Charles’s decision to strip him of his royal titles amidst his connection to Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
