Provincial police have charged a Smiths Falls man with weapons offences after responding to an intimate partner violence incident earlier this week.
On Tuesday, members of the Leeds County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, with the help of the Leeds County Crime Unit, the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) and the OPP Canine unit, carried out a search warrant at a residence in Rideau Lakes, police said Friday.
