Local film production company Ballinran Entertainment is paying homage to an acclaimed actor and Stratford resident who died in early September.
This week, Ballinran announced its flagship soundstage, which will be part of Stageview Studios, the company’s new three-storey production and training facility, will be named the Graham Greene Stage in honour of the Oscar-nominated actor who died at the age of 73.
The decision to name the studio after Greene was actually made before his death, Ballinran said in a press release. Greene’s wife, Hilary Blackmore, said when the company approached the actor with the idea, he was both proud and humbled.
