The Barrington High School girls volleyball team started slow against North Smithfield a Division II quarterfinals playoff matchup on Wednesday night, Oct. 29, but they finished strong.

The Eagles powered to a 3-0 victory over the Northmen — Barrington won the first set 25-22, took the second 25-19, and capped it 25-11 in the third set. The victory propelled the Eagles into the Division II semifinals where they will play against East Bay rivals Mt. Hope High School. The Huskies reached the semifinals with a 3-1 win over Bay View Academy.

The semifinals showdown is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Barrington High School at 6 p.m.

“Proud of the team for making the final four,” wrote BHS Coach Ron Enos, in a message to the Barrington Times.
