The Toronto Blue Jays have a chance to win the World Series on Friday night if they can take the clinching Game 6 at home at the Rogers Centre against the perennial powerhouse Los Angeles Dodgers. It will be the first World Series for the Blue Jays since they went back-to-back in 1992 and 1993. Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Ernie Clement and Trey Yesavage were among the heroes for the Canadian squad in Game 5, and they're hoping to replicate the magic of three decades ago this Halloween night.
So who is getting the festivities started Friday night for the Blue Jays?
Game 6 will kick off with a ceremonial first pitch from Toronto legend and World Series champion Devon White. After that, Quebecois singer-songwriter David Grenon will sing the Canadian national anthem. Indie singer John Vincent will take on the national anthem of the United States.
Here's hoping neither singer has the inauspicious luck of Brad Paisley and his extra-inning games.
