On a recent Joe Rogan episode, Elon Musk circled back in to try and sell the host on the Cybertruck. Rogan didn’t bite, but he did ask Musk about the Tesla Roadster, and the CEO said they’re going to demo a flying version soon.

Currently, the Roadster, as it stands, was announced in 2017 for a 2020 release and has been delayed every year since then.

Musk, always the showman, when pressed if the car would actually fly, told Rogan, “Look, I think it has a shot at being the most memorable product unveil ever. This is some crazy, crazy technology we got in this car. Crazy technology. Crazy crazy.”

I think it will be tough to top the time Elon broke the Cybertruck window with a ball bearing , but hey, if it doesn’t get delayed again, and again, and again, maybe I’ll be proven wrong.
