Both parents and a grandmother of a child found dead in Lynwood have been charged with murder and face potential life sentences, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said in a news release.

The boy, identified only as Isaiah H., is believed to have died on Oct. 24, several days before the discovery of his body on Tuesday. The District Attorney's Office said Isaiah was 8 years old at the time of his death, though earlier reports said he was 7.
