MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A person was hit by a subway train in Manhattan on Friday evening, according to the MTA.
The incident happened at Lexington Avenue/63rd Street around 6 p.m.
Service on the Q line has been suspended between 57th Street-7th Avenue and 96th Street.
Commuters are encouraged to take the No. 7 or the 42nd Street Shuttle at Times Square-42nd Street to Grand Central for the uptown No. 6.
Most Q trains are being rerouted between Manhattan and Queens.
