Wind gusts proved to be pretty impressive for most of our viewing area today- some of us feeling gusts of up to 30mph. The cause for these winds is the introduction of a low pressure system moving into our area, paired with powerful upper level winds. I expect these winds to die down as we transition into tomorrow.

As we head into the overnight hours tonight, the presence of clouds will increase, and so will the chance for some of us to see rain. This being said, the total accumulation will not be impressive, most likely amounting to just a trace. Saturday also invites the chance to see some more widespread, yet brief, rain during the afternoon hours.
