DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - A program offering Duluth’s homeless population a safe spot to park at night is wrapping up for the season as fall dwindles and temperatures drop.

Chum’s Safe Bay program moved from the Damiano Center downtown to Vineyard Church in the Kenwood neighborhood this year due to construction at Damiano. The move initially faced pushback from neighbors concerned about the permitting process and safety.

Successful summer despite contentious start
