Do we want the Blue Jays to win tonight? Or would we rather it get stretched out to a Game 7, before then crushing the Dodgers’ hopes and dreams? I can see the appeal of both. But I think I’d rather take the former option personally: a nice, drama-free march to Toronto’s first World Series title in over thirty years. But we’ll have to see if they can stop Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who has turned the clock back with consecutive complete games. I think he’s the first pitcher to do that in the same postseason, since Curt Schilling tossed three straight for the D-backs on the way to the 2001 World Series. Let’s hope this edition has a different ending for the pitcher!

Today’s game: • 5:00 pm: Dodgers @ Blue Jays [3-2], FOX
