Ronald Sharp, an Ocala resident, was located safe in South Carolina after a Silver Alert was issued for him in Marion County on Friday.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office had issued that Silver Alert for the 80-year-old man due to his medical issues leading to concern for his safety.

He had been seen leaving his home on Thursday, Oct. 30 driving his dark-colored 2025 Jeep Wrangler.
