PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (ABC4) — One local, family-owned farm celebrates fall each year with its giant pumpkin drop, which raises money for charity.

Hee Haw Farms at Oliver's Place has been an agritourism attraction for the past 25 years, but the farm been in the same family since 1870, when it was homesteaded by Oliver Smith. The farm now is much smaller than its original homestead, but fifth-generation owners Kyle and Chalise Smith are continuing the legacy.

Hee Haw Farms operates year-round, with spring, summer, fall, and winter events. Chalise Smith told ABC4 that fall is their most popular season, and the highlight is of course the giant pumpkin drop.
