Residents at Skies Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Albuquerque celebrated Halloween with costumes, masks, and face paint, bringing joy to trick-or-treaters of all ages.

Laurie, a resident for a year, expressed her excitement, saying, it was something she was looking forward to "very much so. I love seeing the little ones."

The event on Friday provided a sense of community for both the residents and the children. "Some of [the residents] might not get visitors, and it makes their day, and it gives the kids a sense of community. For me, it's important that they do things not only for themselves, but for other people," said the mother of a young trick-or-treater dressed as a seahorse.
