Baahubali The Epic Box Office Collection Day 1: A decade after the release of Baahubali: The Beginning, filmmaker SS Rajamouli has once again demonstrated why he remains one of the finest storytellers in contemporary Indian cinema. The filmmaker, who achieved pan-India fame with the Baahubali franchise and international recognition with RRR, has now released Baahubali: The Epic, a re-edited, single-film version of the two-part saga. The film has opened to a phenomenal response. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Baahubali: The Epic collected Rs 9.25 crore (net) across all languages on its first day of release. In addition, special preview screenings held for Telugu audiences on Thursday evening brought in Rs 1.15 crore, taking the total Day 1 collection to Rs 10.4 crore.
