SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Charges were filed and arrest warrant was issued for a man that allegedly raped a minor and then left the country.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a 28-year-old man that allegedly raped his 11-year-old stepsibling before leaving the United States voluntarily. He has been charged with four counts of rape and one count of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, all first-degree felonies.

According to court documents, the defendant was removed from the United States on October 9, 2023, due to his immigration status, before returning and living with the victim in 2024.
