The Memphis Grizzlies suffered their third loss of the season on Friday. They fell to the Los Angeles Lakers 117-112 at the FedEx Forum. However, the main storyline of the night was Ja Morant’s struggle to find his rhythm on the court.

Morant played 31 minutes against the Lakers. However, he managed to finish with only eight points, one rebound, and seven assists while shooting 3-of-14 from the field.

On the other hand, Jock Landale contributed 16 points and five rebounds, while Jaylen Wells also added 16 points. Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 15 points, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope chipped in with 12 points. Despite their efforts, it wasn’t enough to stop Luka Doncic and the Lakers.
