As a 48-yard field goal attempt from Newberg junior Ben Davis sailed through the rain and the clock hit triple zeroes Friday night, Sherwood’s football season flashed before senior Jack Wilson’s eyes.
“All the adversity that we went through all year, people saying that we lost too many guys, we’re too injured,” Wilson said. “The whole season was on my mind on that kick right there.”
