Shares of Bharat Electronics Ltd . (BEL) are now at the highest point of the day after their September quarter earnings announcement on Friday, October 31.

The bottomline came in at ₹1,286 crore, which was higher than CNBC-TV18's poll estimate of ₹1,143 crore. The figure was higher by 18% from ₹1,286 crore last year.

Revenue for the quarter increased by 26% from last year to ₹5,764 crore as against ₹4,583 crore. A CNBC-TV18 poll had pegged the figure to be ₹5,359 crore.

Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation increased by 22% from the same quarter last year to ₹1,695.6 crore, which was higher than the CNBC-TV1 poll estimate of ₹1,482 crore.
