New Delhi: Days before the assembly polls, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar released a video message, crediting himself and the NDA with transforming Bihar and the image of Biharis, listing development work done since 2005.

In the 3-minute 53-second video, Kumar stated that before he came to power, “being called a Bihari was considered an insult.” He added that their government worked for every section of society and changed that perception.

“Before 2005, Bihar’s situation was dire. The entire state was shrouded in darkness. Roads were dilapidated, and education and health systems had completely collapsed.
