Your school property taxes (whether they go up or down) along with city and school leadership (amid dismal learning assessment scores and more modern facilities) are on the Hutchinson ballot this coming Tuesday.
Whether you support or oppose USD 308's bond issue or have informed opinions on those running for public office, it is essential that you advance before noon Monday or Election Day, Nov. 4. We appear on the verge of 25% (probably even less) of those registered and eligible to vote actually marking a ballot.
Don't let a small minority determine the important questions of improved school facilities, school taxes, those making decisions impacting our kids and grandkids or a myriad of city hall development or tax policies. If you don't vote please have the decency of not complaining
