New research by Peterborough’s Research for Social Change Lab is shedding new light on the systemic factors that make being a parent stressful while trying to agitate for solutions to help parents.

Parenting Matters in Peterborough , the final report of the “In Their Own Words: Parenting Work in Nogojiwanong/Peterborough” was conducted in partnership with Lakelands Public Health. It found more than half of parents, with children 12 and under, often experience stress and feelings of being overwhelmed.
